Sarah joined Global Action Plan in 2023 with fifteen years’ experience delivering projects and programmes in the charity sector.
Sarah manages Global Action Plan’s annual Clean Air Day and Clean Air Night campaigns, implements local authority projects across the country, and has delivered deliberative democracy workshops to improve air quality policy in London. Sarah currently leads Global Action Plan’s trailblazing work on domestic burning, as well as the community engagement element of the Mayor of London-supported Breathe London programme.
Sarah’s career started in international trusts and foundations, primarily working in Latin America, before focusing more on local contexts, and then moving into service delivery organisations. Prior to joining Global Action Plan, Sarah worked mainly in child rights and gender rights, including the girl-led activism, domestic abuse, gender stereotyping in education, and at the intersection between child and LGBTQIA+ rights.
