We worked with Dove and a partnership of NGOs - including 5Rights Foundation, Girlguiding and Parenting Mental Health - to raise awareness of harmful features on social media.
Encouraging new design standards that will make social media safer for kids, our petition was signed by over 78,000 people and delivered to Ofcom when the Online Safety Act was made law.

Working with Global Action Plan gave us the confidence to know we were running a credible campaign that led to meaningful action. Their campaigning expertise and strategic understanding of the UK landscape on child online safety was invaluable to our #KidsOnlineSafety campaign.

Following the Government's overturning of Buckinghamshire Council's planning permission refusal, we brought the UK's first legal challenge against a new hyperscale data centre, arguing the project's energy consumption and environmental impacts had not been adequately considered.
Ahead of the hearing, the Government formally accepted its approval should be quashed. Their lawyers acknowledged insufficient measures had been put in place to ensure developer Greystoke and the future operator would be accountable for commitments to mitigate the data centre's climate impact.
People across the UK are increasingly concerned about data centres’ proliferation and what it means for access to water and power.
