Katie Hill is Executive Chair for B Lab Europe, the organisation responsible for rolling out the B Corporation movement across Europe. Having run a social enterprise in Bulgaria, Katie became interested in the mixed use of finance to support businesses make positive impact

She was Social Investment Advisor to the City of London Corporation, and set up Access Foundation, a sister organisation to Big Society Capital, before establishing B Lab UK, of which she was Executive Director. An economist by background, she advised the governments of Poland and Lithuania on their employment strategies. She represented a region of the UK in the EU, and was appointed on to the EU panel of experts on Social Business.
