Clean Air Day is fast approaching. There are a number of things to get involved with in the run-up to 16 June as well as a host of online and in-person events on Clean Air Day itself. Here's just a small selection:
Visit In the Air at the Wellcome Collection. The free exhibition explores our relationship with the air around us. Moving freely across borders and through bodies, air is both vital to our existence and a threat to our health. In the Air is open now and is running until 16 October.
North and South Lanarkshire councils will be hosting an active Clean Air Day event at Strathclyde Park on Sunday 12 June.
Find us in the Sustainable Healthcare Zone from 11.45 at the NHS Confed Expo on 15 June in Liverpool. We will be launching our new Integrated Care Systems Clean Air Framework alongside NENC ICS actions on Clean Air.
The Bristol Clean Air Zone is soon to come into force. What does it mean for the businesses and communities in the city and surrounding area? NatWest have teamed up with Bristol City Council to help local businesses and the community in the area to better understand what the new, soon to be implemented 'Bristol Clean Air Zone' means for them. This online event will be taking place on Wednesday 15 June between 10 - 11am.
We are delighted to present representatives of sector-leading businesses at this special Clean Air Day webinar, Businesses in Action: Secure Clean Air for Future Generations. This panel discussion is intended to spark thought and inspire action on how businesses can move faster, together, on securing a clean air future.
Learn more about how you can improve the air around you with The University of Northampton at their Clean Air Day event. Head over to the Learning Hub on University Drive between 11 and 3pm for competitions, bike tagging and air purifying plants available as well as some delicious vegan food.
