Karishma Gulrajani works on the low carbon transition, with a focus on the intersection of climate policy and sustainable finance.

She has supported policymakers across North America, Europe and Asia develop and implement climate policies to enable a just transition. In addition to systems change through policy, she also works directly with public and private investors to channel green capital.

She holds an MSc. in Economics from the University of Warwick. She is based in London and in her free time enjoys cooking, hosting book clubs and queuing for the Ladies’ Pond at Hampstead Heath!

“One of the biggest challenges is making sure climate action doesn’t just stay in policy papers but actually reaches people’s lives, especially those who’ve been left out of the conversation for too long. That includes women and communities of colour, who are often most impacted by climate and air pollution but aren’t always meaningfully included in the design of solutions. The opportunity is to make climate work more inclusive, more grounded in real experiences, and to build approaches that work for everyone - not just the usual voices at the table.”
