HSBC, through their global Water Programme, worked in partnership with local level charities to deliver impact at scale, educating and inspiring children to learn about water issues and take action.
Water Explorer enabled over 30,000 students across 12 countries to act on water issues, develop useful life skills, and grow into global citizens and ambassadors for change.
As an award-winning environmental charity, Global Action Plan was able to draw on decades of experience developing student-led environmental programmes that change behaviour and have lasting impact. In our role as coordinator of this global education initiative, we designed and implemented a challenge-based online programme in nine languages, aimed at 8-14 year olds.
