Newsletter: Join the movement of businesses tackling air pollution
(24/06/20)

Dear Global Action Plan Supporter

We hope that you are keeping safe and well as we begin to emerge from lockdown. Here's an update on our work and some opportunities for you to get involved and join in with our Business for Clean Air webinars.

Launching Business for Clean Air

The Business Clean Air Taskforce has announced the launch of the Business for Clean Air initiative. The campaign is backed by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), the Greater London Assembly, and the government’s ‘Clean Air Champion’ Professor Stephen Holgate.

The free initiative is a UK first to equip large businesses with the necessary tools to tackle air pollution and make a green recovery.

We encourage businesses to join in and make the pledge to ‘do Business for Clean Air’ online, to help create a movement of hundreds of organisations taking action on air quality.

This event is the first in a series of free webinars from the Business Clean Air Taskforce exploring the different ways companies can create cleaner air.

#WellbeingWeek

An illustration of the 5 ways to wellbeing

This week is #WellbeingWeek on social media. We're sharing our Goals for Good resource for young people, which is based on the five ways to wellbeing model: connect, keep leaning, be active, take notice and give. We're also sharing podcasts and interviews about our work to challenge consumerism and improve wellbeing. Find out more about how we're working to connect what's good for us and what's good for the planet.
