Dear Global Action Plan Supporter
We hope that you are keeping safe and well as we begin to emerge from lockdown. Here's an update on our work and some opportunities for you to get involved and join in with our Business for Clean Air webinars.
Launching Business for Clean Air
The Business Clean Air Taskforce has announced the launch of the Business for Clean Air initiative. The campaign is backed by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), the Greater London Assembly, and the government’s ‘Clean Air Champion’ Professor Stephen Holgate.
The free initiative is a UK first to equip large businesses with the necessary tools to tackle air pollution and make a green recovery.
We encourage businesses to join in and make the pledge to ‘do Business for Clean Air’ online, to help create a movement of hundreds of organisations taking action on air quality.
Join our event: Breathing clean during COVID-19
We'd love for you to join our virtual event taking place on Monday 6 July to discuss the role of remote working in reducing a company’s air pollution footprint. This event is the first in a series of free webinars from the Business Clean Air Taskforce exploring the different ways companies can create cleaner air.
Chris Large, Co-CEO at Global Action Plan will be speaking alongside Jamie Quinn from ENGIE UK, Sharlene Gandhi, Employee Experience consultant and freelance climate and business writer and Stuart Sneddon from Ricardo.
This week is #WellbeingWeek on social media.
