Clean Air Day wins a Business Green Leaders Award

Chris Large receiving the award at Business Green Leaders Award

We're thrilled to share the news that Clean Air Day won Environmental Awareness Campaign of the Year at last week's Business Green Leaders Awards. Huge thanks go to our Clean Air Day partners and supporters for making the campaign possible, and everyone who took part for getting involved and making it such a success!

The judges said they "were hugely impressed by the focus, planning, execution and effectiveness of Global Action Plan’s Clean Air Day, which generated huge media interest, played a key role in driving awareness of air quality issues, and provided an invaluable resource that helps plug an information gap on this most important of issues.” For more information on how to create Clean Air every day, visit our Clean Air Hub, a one-stop-shop for air pollution advice.

Toolkit Taster: end of term activity ideas for teachers

A placard held aloft at a climate protest with the slogan "There is no planet b"

It's been a pretty remarkable year for student action on climate change. We've been so impressed by the energy and leadership that young people have shown in response to the Climate Crisis, and in May we launched our Climate Chaos Response Toolkit to help teachers and school leaders navigate the school strikes.

We've now handpicked some of the activities from it and put them in our Toolkit Taster, as a solution for teachers looking for end-of-term activities. They are a great way to harness student energy on the environment. Please share this with your teacher contacts before the end of term!
