We are recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Manager, as a maternity cover role. We are looking for someone to:

1. CURATE A VIBRANT DIGITAL PRESENCE

Plan and implement an exciting cross-platform editorial calendar, using insights from analytics to improve the reach and impact of our communications. Develop exciting organic content and curate collaborative external content to engage our youth and influencer audiences through our digital channels including web, social media and e-newsletters.
Operational responsibilities: Web and CRM management, e-news development, performance tracking, content creation


2. ENSURE A CONSISTENT VISUAL IDENTITY AND NARRATIVE

Support the launch of our new identity and brand in the spring and act as GAP’s brand gatekeeper to ensure a compelling and consistent external voice and visual identity that excites key audiences to get behind our mission. Use communications expertise to support delivery teams to create rich content including case studies, films, blogs and other outputs that demonstrate programme impact and build on our central narrative.

3. HELP US GROW OUR PROFILE & CUT THROUGH THE NOISE

Work with our team, digital influencers, mission ambassadors and our youth panel to develop and implement exciting public-facing digital campaigns that help us to build our profile as a charity, grow our network of activated young people and raise funds. Develop and nurture organisational, celebrity and media relationships to get our messages out to wider audiences. Identify and ensure our active presence at relevant industry awards and events.

Operational oversight: campaign development & implementation, influencer/celebrity recruitment/management, paid & earned media placement, award submissions, event speaking opportunities.

Details:

  • Role start: Feb/Mar 2018
  • £30-45k pro-rata (experience dependent)
  • 25 days annual leave pro-rata, 2 duvet days + 2 volunteering days.
