Global Action Plan is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Trustees – Karishma Gulrajani, Himali Dave and Ken Penton
We're really excited that our new trustees Karishma Gulrajani, Himali Dave and Ken Penton are joining our Board.
We asked them all: 'What are you most looking forward to in working with us?'
Karishma:
“I’m excited to work alongside a passionate team that connects high-impact policy ideas with real-world community action. I look forward to contributing my international climate policy experience while learning from grassroots approaches that make the transition to cleaner air and greener communities more participatory. I’m especially energised by the opportunity to amplify local voices and bring together policy, finance, and lived experience to accelerate climate solutions.”
Himali:
“I am excited to be part of and support an organisation doing such incredible work – and to learn from the team and fellow trustees, all of whom bring such varied expertise from a range of sectors and industries.
I am keen to get better connected into the British political and campaigning world, whilst also exploring ways for Global Action Plan to build and strengthen global solidarity through their already existing international networks.”
Ken:
”I’m looking forward to getting to know how the organisation works, meeting Global Action Plan employees, and providing them with the support and challenge they need to achieve the public policy campaign objectives they are working on. I also want to help them develop personally and professionally. I am also looking forward to learning from them and developing personally and professionally myself.”
