Working to educate and mobilise the healthcare sector for action on air pollution and Big Tech
Laura joined Global Action Plan in 2023 bringing experience from her background in environmental and community-based project delivery and in the healthcare sector. She has a BSc in Wildlife Conservation and an MSc in Climate Change and Environmental Policy. Her role at Global Action Plan is to manage and support a range of cutting-edge air quality and big tech projects. Laura is currently working on projects to encourage action from organisations and communities, particularly the healthcare sector, on air pollution, as well as managing Global Action Plan’s campaign to limit hyperscale data centre expansion.
She has experience managing projects and delivering courses, events, and activities, working across a variety of backgrounds, and managing stakeholder engagements. In her previous role as a Project Officer at Groundwork East, she engaged over a hundred primary school children across five schools in a gardening project, ‘VegFest’, teaching them valuable lessons on sustainability and horticulture.
Laura is passionate about improving quality of life for all community members and tackling health and social inequalities. She is a keen netball player in her spare time and loves being out in nature and exploring new places.

I am passionate about climate justice and creating greener and healthier communities for everyone. I feel proud to work at an organisation which is working to tackle the root causes of environmental issues.
