Hattie has a background in sustainability research, working on multiple interdisciplinary projects with the University of Exeter and the University of Bath. She holds a BSc in Environmental Science and History and a MSc in Sustainable Development.

Hattie worked for the University of Bath researching cultivated meat sustainability and supply chains and also worked on a project with the University of Exeter, working with community members to research the reasons for the growing number of people living in their vans in Cornwall.

She is passionate about intersectional environmental and social justice issues, with a particular interest in food systems, tackling sewage pollution, clean air, and dismantling systems of oppression such as Big Tech. Hattie is working as a Programme Assistant at Global Action Plan supporting the delivery of projects, managing logistics and administration.

She is a sporty, outdoorsy person who loves nature and surfing having spent five years living in Cornwall.
