She/They
Making what we do and how we work more effective and engaging
Clair is a chartered environmentalist with a passion for making information clear and accessible to all. They manage and oversee all of Global Action Plan’s digital projects, working with the end user in mind.
Clair trained as an engineer, with a sustainability specialism. Before joining Global Action Plan she worked in property planning, developing energy models for new developments and identifying how to reduce their energy demands and increase renewable provision.
Since joining Global Action Plan 17 years ago, Clair has run behaviour change projects, developed international web programmes, and increasingly taken on a greater internal role within the organisation. Clair was instrumental in the development of the Clean Air Hospital Framework, a free resource being used by hospitals across the UK to improve air quality across the hospital site and in the local community, produced the Global Action Plan “Our Lives, Our Planet” podcast, and is leading on the website development for the latest phase of the Mayor of London's Breathe London project.
Clair enjoys crafting (especially knitting) and thoroughly enjoys living at the seaside.

Fairness is hugely important to me, and that's embedded in so much of the work that Global Action Plan does.
