Anna Beasley Anna manages all of Global Action Plan’s national and international schools programmes and youth supporter networks. She also oversees learning and development for all of her colleagues at Global Action Plan, ensuring everyone is happy and has the right skills for their job. As someone who strives to create a sense of community wherever she goes, her mission is to see children and adults becoming the best they can be and using their talents and gifts for the greater good. Formally trained as a school teacher, Anna joined us in 2014 after ten years working in primary education where she championed environmental awareness at all of her schools through eco clubs, gardening sessions and even a Swap Shop. Anna uses her classroom know-how to approach, inspire and engage young people. GAP’s mission takes a look at the value experiences, rather than things, can bring. What does Anna like doing in her free time? Anna just loves spending time with people: be it at church, over dinner or on long walks in the Surrey hills. What inspires Anna about GAP’s mission? The ways in which we are helping young people to feel valued over and above what they look like and what they own.
