Rowan wins Global Action Plan's Super Star monthly award for June

Global Action Plan's Super Star monthly award

Rowan on the Great Wall of China

We have an employee recognition scheme where every month someone at Global Action Plan wins £100. The winner is chosen via nominations from workmates who want to say thank you to each other.

Voting

When employees nominate each other, they give examples of the great work that has been done, and which of our new key competencies it relates to.

These competencies are divided into 3 categories: Make a difference, Be passionate about what we are doing and Be one team and deliver the results.

The winner…

We are thrilled to announce that Rowan Boase is this month's winner. Well done Rowan!

Rowan developed an innovative Thames Water programme which is inspiring lots of school pupils and she also recently created a very compelling email campaign. It's also recognition for her work in China which was featured on The New York Times website

I am very pleasantly surprised to have won this month’s colleague recognition award. But without the whole schools team I wouldn’t achieve anything! My team and indeed all of Global Action Plan are incredibly supportive and make working here stimulating, rewarding and fun. I can’t wait to nominate others next month. Rowan Boase, this months winner

Rowan, you are too modest.

Well done to our other nominees:

Claire McMullen, Eleanor Gill, Edel Fingleton, Heather Poore, John Northall, Jenni Wiggle, Kate Lyons, Kim Jardine, Rachel Horton, Stephanie Walker and the Climate Squad interns.

Watch this space for next month’s winner and let us know if there are any employees you want to thank.
