Rockin' around the Christmas Tree
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
On the 15th December, at 7pm, London is in for an auditory treat, thanks to Global Action Plan employees.
Like many charities, we know that a good sing song is the perfect way to raise some pennies. We also know that an outdoor singing event is lovely and friendly to the environment, if not the milling tourists’ ears.
For one hour only
So, we’ll be singing for the masses by the Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square for one whole hour.
We would love it if you came along to say hello and donate, join in or to chat to us if you would like any environmental advice.
We’ll have some brass accompaniment and lots of enthusiasm, as well as the obligatory festive cheer and rattling buckets.
Here are a few things your donations could help us to do:
- Train young unemployed people to achieve BTEC awards, with environmental expertise and communication skills
- Advise fuel poor households how to save money on their bills, while reducing their impact on the environment
- Work with schools to save on their water and energy bills, so that they can spend it on more important things
- Teach school children how to reduce the amount of rubbish they throw away
- Show small UK businesses how to work efficiently and win new contracts thanks to their environmental credentials
If you can’t be there, please do donate now. And have a Merry Christmas!
