OxfordJam: 14-16 April: an extra-ordinary (un)conference
OxfordJam
OxfordJam is a two-day participant-driven conference covering social economy and social finance projects. It creates a space for the nurturing of social economy and social finance projects the world over.
The activities are proposed by participants in the weeks leading up to the event so you can get involved and shape it as you see fit.
Here you will find powerful world class content across diverse themes such as social finance, eco entrepreneurship, the future of social enterprise support, gift economies and much more. Plus opportunities to explore the issues with presenters.
The Low Carbon Future Balloon Debate
Our very own Trewin Restorick will be speaking during the Low Carbon Future Balloon debate, a debate in which a number of speakers attempt to win the approval of an audience.
The audience is invited to imagine that the speakers are flying in a hot-air balloon which is sinking and that, one by one, the speakers must be thrown overboard if the idea of a low carbon future is not to die.
The audience then begins the process of jettisoning overweight and poorly inflated ideas to create great dramatic interpretation. Read more about the Low Carbon Future Balloon Debate.
