Liz from our Eco Family has received the Outstanding Individual award at the London What We Are Proud Of awards.

An outstanding individual

There was strong competition so huge congratulations to Liz and her daughters, Monique and Micaela, for their superb efforts and well deserved recognition for taking on the challenge of sustainable living.

Our Eco Family

Our Eco Family were chosen from dozens of Newlon families to take part in a year-long challenge to encourage residents to live a more sustainable lifestyle and save money at the same time. Image: Newlon's Eco Family

Each month, we set Liz and her daughters, Monique and Micaela, a challenge; from water useage to shopping and growing your own herbs and veg.

Liz keeps a diary on each challenge and we send this, along with tips and useful information, to Newlon residents every month. At the end of the year, we will see how much money and energy they have saved.

Newlon Fusion

We work in partnership with with Newlon Fusion and their Save Money, Save Energy, Save the World project, which our Eco Family is part of, has just been shortlisted for the Sustainable Housing Awards 2011. The winners will be announced in October so watch this space.
