Let’s grow a greener Hackney together... Energy Saver Scheme
Global Action Plan and Hackney Council are getting together to help you save money and energy at home. Why? Because it is better for your pocket, Hackney and the environment.
Launch event of Hackney’s Home Energy Saver Scheme
To show our love of all things green, we’ll be holding a cashless jumble sale. It’s completely free. All you have to do is pick a positive environmental action from our list and promise to do it.
Then you can rummage through the jumble for homeware, books, Halloween costumes, clothes and more, for you to take home. There’ll also be make-do-and-mend activities galore, a Dr. Bike session for your cycle and a face painter for the kids.
When and where?
Saturday 30th October, 11am - 3pm,
Stormont House School, Downs Park Rd, Hackney Downs, E5 8NP.
