This is an invitation for London-based faith groups and voluntary community organisations to join in a free initiative across London to reduce environmental impacts and save money.

Funded by London Councils, Global Action Plan is training volunteer EcoTeam leaders to recruit and run EcoTeams throughout Greater London. Participants get access to free resources as well as support in running their programme.

An EcoTeam is a group of 6-8 people who meet once a month for 5 months and take simple actions in their homes to reduce environmental impacts and save resources and money.

Meetings are interactive and based around a range of environmental topics. Energy and waste information is collected through the process and an individual report is produced at the end - coupled with a celebration meeting.
