  • If you reduce the amount of bottled water you consume by two litres a day, you’ll save around 10kg of CO2 each year.
  • Each person throws away approximately 4lbs of rubbish every day.
  • The average adult gets 19kg of junk mail per year. Say no to junk mail and you can save up to 104kg of CO2 every year.
  • Defrosting your freezer regularly will save up to 10kg of CO2 per year.
  • Switching off your monitor and computer at the end of the day can save up to 33kg of C02 per year.
  • By recycling we are able to save more than 18 million tonnes of C02 a year. That's the same as taking five million cars off the roads.
