Bust a Flush

The average household used 350 litres of water a day. 30% of our water use is from toilet flushing!

Our Bust a Flush volunteering events empower young people to help communities cut water use and carbon emissions in the home. Teams of volunteers are trained up before hitting the streets dressed as hippos to hand out water saving devices and communicate the importance and benefits of saving water. Each water saving device saves up to 4185 litres of water a year!

Add your vision to Greenprint 2020

Global Action Plan has been working with young people to create their Greenprint 2020 vision of a sustainable future. Greenprint 2020 will ensure that young people are heard by decision makers and have a part to play in the transition to a low carbon world. So far Greenprint 2020 represents 4,500 young people, however we want as many to contribute as possible.

Take a look at the vision so far and then join Greenprint 2020 to tell us your vision.

Join our 2012 Steering Group

We're looking for visionary young people aged 16 - 25 to join our 2012 Steering Group. As a member of the group you will represent 4,500 Greenprint 2020 volunteers, feed into important parts of the programme, keep up to date with environmental news and motivate other young people to take action. You will also have the opportunity to help design new volunteering opportunities, and much more.
