The EcoDriving simulator shows people how to drive more efficiently, with the added element of competition. 

Users quickly learn how to make their driving more fuel efficient, as well as safer, through better anticipation and making simple changes to their vehicles.

Each EcoDriving simulator features three screens and a set of sophisticated driving controls.

Simulations to choose from

There are a range of realistic simulations involving urban, extra-urban and motorway driving that enable users to put their new environmental driving techniques into practice. In addition, each simulator provides participants with a breakdown on their fuel efficiency, distance travelled and overall ranking. 

The EcoDriving simulator is accompanied by two trained educators who:

• transport and set up the exhibits
• provide advice to users on driving more efficiently and making alterations to their vehicles
• make the connection between more fuel efficient driving and climate change
