Copenhagen: It's our time to act!
Get involved with COPArt
It’s time to act, we need to show the world and its leaders what climate change means to you.
World leaders will meet in Copenhagen this December to decide the future of our planet at the UN climate change summit. It’s vital they reach an agreement to safeguard our world.
Why we need to act now
The decision-makers need to understand the strength of peoples’ concern. The effects of climate change are already with us so there’s no time to waste, it’s essential to act now.
What can I do?
COPArt is an online visual campaign in which everyone can take part. Our aim is to create an interactive digital picture montage to be shown at Copenhagen. COPArt will form a powerful visual message which can’t be ignored.
It’s simple
Send your own personal message by creating an image or a video which highlights your concerns about climate change. Then simply upload your work at www.cop-art.org.uk.
Create an image of whatever you like. Anything from a photo, painting, collage, drawing, sculpture, to a video. All we ask is that you get involved, and tell your friends too.
A chance to win
Because it’s so important you take part we’ll pick our favourite image to feature on COPArt t-shirts to spread the message. If your entry is chosen as the winner we’ll award you with lots of t-shirts so all your friends can get kitted out in your design.
COPArt is supported by Climate Squad – a community of 16-25 year olds fighting climate change. We’ll ensure the t-shirts will be worn by Climate Squad members. And we’ll also wear and share them at high profile events so they’re seen by MPs and celebrities who share our concerns.

It’s time to act now
With Copenhagen only weeks away it’s time to act. Get involved now at www.cop-art.org.uk.
Your images are a powerful way to show world leaders how important the climate change issue is to you, and to all of us. We need to ensure that at Copenhagen they come up with a workable plan of action. A plan that will make a real and lasting difference to us, to our communities and globally.
The official launch of COPArt will be at the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit, but the project will run until at least until the end of June 2010.
Please note, COPArt is now finished and the winners have been announced.
