Climate Squad's COPArt Live! 03/05/2010
Climate Squad's COPArt Live!
In May 2010 Climate Squad held an event mixing music and art called COPArt Live!
The event
On the 3 May 2010 over 200 Climate Squad volunteers came together with arts, crafts, music, DJs and photographers at the Village Underground, Shoreditch, London, to take part in COPArt Live.
With the help of 5 aspiring artists, the volunteers helped to create 5 large sculptures depicting their concerns about climate change.
They also created and entered their own COPArt pieces into the COPArt competition.
We also had our EcoInteractive exhibits there, encouraging young people to have a go on the ecodriving simulators and energy bikes.

Organised by Climate Squad, a project run by Global Action Plan and funded by Bank of America and Vinspired, the National Young Volunteer Service, COPArt was officially launched at the United Nations Climate Change conference in Copenhagen in November 2009.
