Business partnerships

Global Action Plan is delighted to have been chosen by Sky and EDF Energy as their charity partners.

Our work with partners takes us a step closer to achieving our ambition of growing what we do, connecting with people and inspiring them into action.

Our partnerships are exciting places for us to explore and break new ground as well as using our tried and tested methods to extend our reach by working
with customers, employees and communities.

Sky

Sky selected Global Action Plan for a three year partnership from among 170 other applicants. Sky has helped dramatically increase our reach to schools through our national programme around food waste. The programme, called Appetite for Action, attracted over 1,200 schools to sign up during the 2008-9 school year alone.

Visit the Appetite for Action website to find out more.

We have also worked on initiatives to engage Sky customers, employees and their supply chain. Read more about our work with Sky.

EDF Energy

We have also been selected as charity partner to EDF Energy which involved a staff selection process. We have some amazing activities planned through
our partnership.

So far we have worked with EDF to launch a UK-wide call to action to the public for the Team Green Britain campaign. The campaign is about recognising that people in the UK are ready to take on the challenge of climate change by getting involved and doing something positive.

Read about our charity partnership with EDF at the EDF Energy website.

Business in the Community

We are working with BITC Mayday network to offer action based initiatives to companies that need support.
