Investec, a financial institution that works closely with Global Action Plan to reduce emission levels, won a Platinum Award in the City of London's Clean City Awards Scheme 2007.

They won the top prize in 2006 - no one has ever won the top prize of the Chairman's Cup twice in their category.

Investec was one of 11 out of over 1,320 to achieve this level.

The Clean City Awards Scheme is a City of London initiative, in partnership with the business community, to reduce unsafe and unsightly waste on City streets, and to drive the practices of reduction, reuse and recycling of waste.
